
Skyler Wood joined Dant Advocacy in late 2025, following four years of working for the Republican caucus of the Indiana House of Representatives.
Skyler most recently was the Indiana House Republican legislative internship director, where he managed over twenty-five interns during the 2025 legislative session. In that role, his focus was promoting a beneficial experience for the interns, staff, and legislators alike while ensuring that the internship class was fully engaged in the work being done. Skyler also served as a senior legislative assistant, where he managed an office of his legislative assistant colleagues and mentored new staff members. Prior to his time at the Statehouse, Skyler worked as an employment consultant at a nonprofit in Indianapolis, where he helped individuals with disabilities gain employment.

Skyler earned his bachelor's degree in public affairs from the IUPUI O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs in 2020.
